IBEF - IIA, which closed its fund raise in September 2013, is a $102 million private equity fund.
It is a sector agnostic fund with a focus on providing growth capital to Indian mid market companies driven by sustainable economic growth of India in the next decade. The fund would follow disciplined investment process with a focus on structuring and valuation to ensure adequate margin of safety.
The Fund has made investments in four companies so far, of which one company is publicly traded. The fund is witnessing strong deal traction and aims to invest the corpus in 10-13 companies over the next two years.
